We All Really Do Live On The Edge Of Life

Edge Of LifeIn my humorous side of me friends have noted occasionally I show my edgy side straying from my straight arrow persona to get people to laugh and loosen up more. But I was thinking of ANOTHER kind of edge today, how any of us at any minute are actually

Living On The Edge Of Life.

I had three instances over the last week or so with others. A well known area attorney owner of a title company had a fatal heart attack while giving a training class assisting our local real estate community. Last week on an exit that I use to go to this sports bar to watch TV and grab a burger someone came down off the ramp fast and plowed into another car flipping it, killing one. I was right there inside eating lunch when it happened and if I would have come later it could have been me. Then just today a four year old in a pick up truck shifted the transmission into neutral and in a matter of 15 seconds the family said the truck rolled over his 16 month old toddler sister killing her instantly.

The point is this edge of everything being safe and secure and our whole life or lives of those around us can change in an instant. It is a reminder like being very close to a waterfall or back behind the guardrail. We just have to know that tragedy can just be around the corner and to LIVE in the moment ALWAYS respecting others and being kind.

There simply is no time REALLY to live any other way, and people that do live OTHER ways hurting people, well shame on them. Always remember the edge of life and

THAT WE ARE ALWAYS RIGHT NEXT TO IT!!

I've had a couple of bad experiences in the last few weeks and I take it as a sign someone is suggesting I might need to be smelling the flowers a bit more.

Gary

I would call it looking over the edge.

Good luck and success.

I so agree Gary. I am starting to smile more and to see the beauty of life on a daily basis. Treating each day as a gift. Life can change in an instant.

Gary, how true. The signs are everywhere. I know it is so important to tell those you love that you do love them on a regular basis. I am learning to smell the roses a bit more, that is a hard one for me. I worry too much and let stress take over.

Great reminder, thank you!
