Well that did it, brought a tear to my eye. My business partner brought her dog to work every day, she became the office dog. Friday marked a week since she had to be put down. It has been very, very sad here. And although this Feb marks 2 years since putting my own dog down I still miss him as much today as I did the day we had to do it.

It is what my dogs asked of me and my husband and we did agree with all, right up to the very bitter end. They now play in the forever playground and reside in our hearts.

CaboAndrea, I started to bring my new dog to the office about a year ago, when he became a Therapy dog we began to do Therapy together at Nursing homes.  He has now become the office dog.  My son who was 14 at the time we had to put down my last Golden said, "It wouldn't be fair to every other species if dogs got to live longer than they do, people have to live almost 100 years to get the same amount of enjoyment out of life than our dog did in 7 years.  Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Glenn, I really liked this. From a dogs perspective, this should be read by every new pet owner as an agreement they make in exchange for all the unconditional love they will receive.
