CamScanner, Our Favorite App for the Crowdsourcing Challenge.
I look at a lot of apps, some I keep and some get deleted, but one recent addition impressed me so much that I had all of my staff download it to thier smartphones and tablets.
Camscanner is very handy, always available, quick, and the quality is top notch!
We use it for:
- Meeting notes
- Applications
- Scanning maps
- Contracts
- Reciepts
- and so much more.
It is simple to pull out your phone and scan in a contract or application without having to go back to the office.
- Just pull out your phone.
- Snap a picture
- CamScan will estimate where the corners of your document are, you can adjust them if it is off.
- Then hit the checkmark
- And CamScanner automatically adjusts and stretches the picture to make it look perfect.
- Then it will put each of the scans from this contract into a single pdf file that you can email back to yourself or others.
It really helps keep the clutter off of my desk too, after a meeting I pull out my camera, scan in my notes, upload them to my dropbox and share them with the other attendees, and file the original.
This cool little app is not only perfect for all the Android users out there, but it is also available for Ipad and Iphones.
