Thanks Sussie, I miss it too, but we have been outvoted, my wife likes the new one.  A good business card scanner is "CamCard", it generally does a good job, sometimes it needs a little editing before sending it directly into your contact management system.  There is a limit of 5 cards per week with the free version, so doing a desk cleanup may take a few weeks, but if you scan them as you get them 5 per week may be enough.
