Aloha and Welcome back,

Everybody has heard of "Kona Coffee" , but how many really know about the area that produces it?

Today we are going to talk a little bit about Holualoa, resting on the slopes of Hualalai mountain.

Just above Kailua Kona, one of the most sought after areas in the North Kona. Mostly due to the perfect climate, and old town feeling. A typical day on the mountain, you wake up to beautiful sunny day, as the temperature rises into the  afternoon, the clouds will start to form, giving you a late afternoon cloud cover, and typically light evening showers. It still plays tricks on my mind when I'm out at sea fishing, as I head out to one of the buoys, my attention is usually focused behind me, on my fishing lines. In the background is the town of Holualoa, it always looks like a Storm brewing - you question yourself - should I be heading 12 miles out into the deep blue Sea - on this little 18 ft boat! But then as I look forward - its a beautiful sunny, flat , calm day. No big storm brewing, no impending danger, just God behind me, taking care of some of the most perfect coffee in the world - Kona Coffee. Back to Kona Real estate, you have such a variety of homes up there, everything from 60, 70 year old, little coffee shacks, up to multi-million dollar Gentlemen Estates.

Speaking of that, I want you to take a look at this picture perfect Coffee Farm, "Estates at Holualoa".

This "Gentlemans farm" is perfect for the "high roller", Kona Coffee Connoisseur, it sits literally right above town, yet as pass through the private gates, you would never know it. This private community has several luxury homes, with many of them producing Kona coffee also ------- just look at the photos, and follow the link on the last picture .
