Water Tower - Westley Ca

Just north of the town of Patterson California is the tiny town of Westley California. Both are located on the far West Side of Stanislaus County in Calfornia's Central Valley. Highway 33 runs north/south through both towns. Along higway 33 runs an old Southern Pacific rail line that is now owned by California Northern Railroad. Standing along the rails in the town of Westley is an old water tower that was used in the days of steam engines. I took these photos on Saturday (8/24/13).

Great photos. The sepia tone gives it an older feel even though you took them recently. Reminds me of where I grew up in Ohio.

Hella - Yes they still are used. They haul a lot of produce from the area on those tracks.
