The unique things about Sedona are what make Sedona unique. Case in point is the Peppermint Zebra at Hillside in Sedona, Arizona. It is a candy, toy store that breaks from tradition and yet is traditional. Where can you find Stewart's Cream Soda, Neccos Candy waffers, master chocolatiers, hand sewn heirloom quality stuffed animals, scientific experiments and extraordinary puzzles, brittle makers, taffy, new born cuddles, giant hand made dragons under one roof? And that's not the half of it. If you are in Sedona and have to find that unusual gift or decadent chocolate, the Peppermint Zebra at Hillside has it. It's just a cool place to go and hang out between lunch and world class galleries. Inspired by Interior Arts master designer and craftsman Devin Terreson and interior designer Lynne Montedonico of Lynne M. Design, the Peppermint Zebra just visually from the mottled green floor with gold speck to the colorful lights is worth the visit. But grab one, just one, of those melt in your mouth $12.00 truffles, your eyes roll back in your head and you'll feel like a holy roller on crack. The Peppermint Zebra offers that kind of kid store that adults love going to. It's located at 671 State Route 179, Hillside Sedona, Sedona, Arizona. I was in there today. I know the owner and stop in from time to time to pick up an occassional treat. They really have an eclectic bunch of things to choose from. They just got in hand made stuffed animals that are just so cool. Perfect for kids because they are sooooo soft. Puzzles, different toys, chocolates etc. etc. If you visit Sedona you ought to stop in. They also have all those different candies we grew up on that you can't find anymore. Thanks for your comment.
