This past week, my family and I showed up for a commercial shoot for Buffalo's Republican Mayoral Canidate Sergio Rodriguez. We were asked by a friend who is also a staunch Democrat, her name to be withheld. That's right my wife and I are also staunch supporters of Democrats down the line usually. I have strayed from the party line once or twice in my 15 years of voting. This mayoral election is a big one for me, and my family. With school graduation rates plummeting under the Incumbent Mayor Byron Brown's 8 years in office and crime rates, and unemployment in the city of Buffalo, rising terribly high. I felt the need for change, and that is what I hope we get. For too long the city has stood by and watched some politicians who have gotten more out of touch with each passing year. This is the year someone not beholden to any private interests, needs to take over and guide the city into the future. I am not sure what will happen but I certainly will do my part to help Sergio get elected. Check out the commericial which sets to air on September 11, 2013. And good luck to Sergio!
