Once upon a time in Charm City there was a princess named Lyra who lived in a beautiful c.1927 townhouse along a tranquil section of West Old Cold Spring Lane. Lyra's house was an especially nice place to relax, dance, and create - so much so that by royal decree these words were mounted on the wall.
Welcome to 1418 W. Old Cold Spring Lane in Baltimore's Medfield neighborhood.
The inlaid floors, plaster walls, 9 foot ceilings and warm natural light make the dining room the perfect spot for Princess Lyra to enjoy her favorite meal.....pancakes.
Lyra's mommy, Queen K, loved the kitchen.
The layout was well designed for having a lot of activity going on at once.
The royal puppy Angie, the princess's loyal companion, loved the magical backyard.
We all know a princess needs her beauty sleep. Lyra's room is such a happy place to dream.
Princesses also need a place to play.
and a place to get gorgeous (with the help of Queen K)
The King and Queen had a hard time choosing which of the three bedrooms they wanted to use, but in the end selected the cozy room in the back of the house that has its own balcony.
Lyra's house includes a basement (with a tall ceiling!) where you can find the laundry, storage, and a casual bath (known in Charm City as a "flush") that the palace staff can use. For the time being the place is a bit of a dungeon - which served the needs of Princess Lyra just fine.
Lyra's house is on the only street in Medfield that is part of the 21209 zipcode.
Lyra's house is for sale in Baltimore Maryland 21209. While this house is priceless to her royal family, it can be yours for $178,000. Available for preview by appointment with her Realtor.
