Ferris WheelSt. Susanna Family Festival in Mason Ohio September 6-8 2013

Are you ready for another church festival?  Then get ready for next weekend's St. Susanna Family Festival September 6th through 7th!
Located at 616 Reading Road in Mason (just above the Tylersville Road intersection), St. Susanna Catholic Church's annual St. Susanna's Family Festival will be open Friday 5 p.m. to Midnight, Saturday 4 p.m. to Midnight and Sunday from 2 to 9 p.m. (an hour shorter on Sunday than 2012).  Parking is available on the football field.

You can expect all the usual Festival food at this event, and maybe even some not so usual!  It's a given there will be fish, but you can also find tacos, chicken, pizza, brats, metts, goetta sliders and a whole lot more!

There's live entertainment each day with bands, kids doing gymnastics and jump rope demonstrations, DJs and even a magician Sunday afternoon!

And of course there will be rides at the festival, and Sunday $20 gets a RIDE ALL DAY bracelet!

And what's a parish festival without some opportunity to contribute to their fundraising?  Bingo Saturday 5-9, Sunday 2-7, and poker, blackjack and other card games will be available and we're betting the odds favor the church!

And for the serious fundraising, there's a Grand Raffle that COULD win you $15,000 in cash OR a 2013 Honda Odyssey LXE Jetta OR a two year lease on a Sea Ray 185 Sport Bowrider and Trailer, and 3 cash drawings of $100 each.  The drawing will be Sunday at 9 p.m. and you don't have to be present to win.  Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5, or if you want to go big time, purchase a $100 Personal Sponsorship and get 30 tickets AND be recognized on the Grand Raffle Sponsorship Board!  Tickets available at the Information Desk or the Parish Office and of course at the Festival.

And you know there has to be an auction, right?  There will be a silent auction with all kinds of goodies up for bid, so take your chance and you might leave with more than you came with!

St. Susanna Family Festival website or call the Parish Office at 513.398.3821.

Hi Bill and Liz, the local festivals are always the best. They are a place for people to gather and say hello to neighbors and friends as much as all the other features. The big fairs get a bit less personal.

It's been years since I've attended a church festival.  You just gave me a great blast from the past.

Good morning BLIZ,

The local festivals are always fun..we had many every year growing up and always had fun saying hello to our neighbors and friends! We use to have clam bakes..my dad loved clams!! Thanks for letting us know about what goes on in your area!

William, And our local church festivals draw a lot more than just the church members.  They're important dates on the social calendar.

Roger, It's been a number of years since we've attended one also.

Dorie, We've still got plenty of events like this left, even if school is back in session!
