I have been so busy that I had not noticed, I guess that I had better get to work, lots more to do before it starts snowing again.

Have you noticed the softening light of late? Fall is slowly sneaking up on us. The waning days of summer are still sweet and warm in the Pacific Northwest, yet you can sense the change.
Today, on this final day of August, the garden reflects the changing season. Colors, while still rich and vibrant, echo the golds of autumn. The lighter and brighter palettes are more subdued.
Happy Labor Day Weekend - it's time for a shift in our lifestyle and the official change in seasons is near.
