Mason Ohio New Construction Homes: Alverta Community By M/I Homes
If you've driven down Western Row Road off of I-71 recently you've probably noticed the earthmovers. M/I Homes is prepping for their next development, Alverta! Current plans are for 129 homes to take over a portion of the former golf course just west of the Oakwood Lakes condo complex and is slated to open in early 2014. Alverta residents will be in Mason City School district.
Prices will start in the mid-$300's and go into the $400's, with two primary homesite styles: neo traditional and "regular" single family homes.
Your first question might be, what is neo traditional? First, don't expect large lots, frontage will be 50'. A good example of neo traditional homes would be a section of homes in Lebanon's Countryside development on Village Park. Expect lots of curb appeal, more narrow designs and minimal lawn care. Plans are for about 35 of this style two story home, with square footage in the 2600-3000 range.
The regular single family homes will feature 70' wide lots and a choice of ranch or two story homes in the 2,200 to 3,800 square feet range. Expect these homes to be priced in the $400's.
Plans call for a couple of lakes and a park, but for a pool and other recreation services you'll need to head around the corner to the Mason Community Center.
It's a bit early to actually order your Alverta home, and we recommend having an agent to work with you through the new construction process. M/I Homes has built the cost of our services into their overhead, so there's no extra cost to you to have your own dedicated representation.
