This was another Good week for great posts.
I always learn a lot from other Active Rainers. From TECHO tips to fun tidbits. These posts have stood out from the crowd this week. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
Debbie, has a great idea on how to give out your contact info via texting. "Stop Giving Out Business Cards and Use Another Option. I was trying to give an insurance business associate a referral. We were in a relaxed social situation with some mutual friends without business card
Donna, talks about how to deal with Buyers who want a "fixer". "Why don't real estate agents show buyers only the houses they have asked to see? I was reading a real estate forum this weekend, and someone posed this question.
Phil- gives us something to think about for our retirement. "Times continue to change for baby boomers--and not just in terms of when they will retire and how they will pay for it--but also about who will care for them in their 70s and 80s."
Mel- tells a heart breaking story of a family tragedy, see if you can help!. "It's Okay If You Don't Feature Me. A few weeks ago, I wrote a very personal post about a childhood friend of mine who is dying from an incurable disease. In an effort to help the family, and bring as much exposure to the story as I could, I reached out to the Active Rain Gods (privately) and asked for something I would never think of asking for myself... a Feature."
Janis- shows us how awesome is "Auto Awesome!- "Auto Awesome is a photo feature on Google+. It was launched on Google+ on May 15th 2013. The feature creates "Photos in motion" automatically, and hence the name."
Tim- shows us in step by step how to share our contact info via text message. "It suggested that you can send someone a text message with your contact information. It sounded like it just took a few quick keystrokes and all of your detailed contact information would be magically sent to someone who could just click a button and have it automatically uploaded to their contacts in their phone without them having to type anything." read on...
Debbie- here she is again with a great analogy about buffalos and cows. "I heard a great story at my state convention about problem solving. The speaker was referring to problems solving, procrastination and putting off dealing with them."
Kathy- ends the week with a welcome to Autumn!. "Fall or autumn is my favorite time of the year. Even though we here in Ventura County fall short of the abundance of fall colors seen in the other parts of the nation, we get enough to know it is fall and we do feel a cold nip in the air especially early in the morning, which I relish."
See you next week.
