Using Our Toy Poodle in Business for Raising Rescue Awareness

Many of us have met a dog or cat we like or maybe prefer to avoid.  There are valid reasons

for avoiding pets, such as allergies.  Fortunately, poodles are considered hypoallergenic, so few

people are likely to have an allergic reaction to our toy poodle, Nathan.  When considering

having a dog or cat, please think about having a rescued animal.  Unfortunately, so many pets

are abandonned by their owner(s), mistreated, or both.  There are various animal rescue

organizations found on the Internet, so please ask around and see what organizations are

available in your area!

Nathan, like so many rescued dogs, is a survivor.  Fortunately, he's beaten the odds at a

Virginia puppy mill, and jumped from weighing a meager two pounds last October to weighing

six pounds today.  Needless to say, he now is a spoiled and loved member of the family!

Lucky for me, Nathan enjoys traveling.  He also is very well behaved and socialized.  In fact,

he's inspired me to use him as my outside blog title, The World According to Nathan.

Nathan is below showing his mobile dog house.

There are many benefits for having a

rescue animal as one's pet.  First, they

often are less expensive than going to

a legitimate breeder for a pedigree dog

or cat.  Secondly, we often help bring

love and comfort to an animal that

may have endured suffering and abuse

   earlier in life.

As I learn more ways to help raise

   awareness about animal rescue

operations, then I will share that

   information in upcoming blog entries.

Just like responding to the needs of our

clients, we can help to serve a need in

society by being more responsive to

   the issues surrounding abandonned and

   abused animals.

Nathan happens to be an excellent example

of a well socialized dog, and almost

everyone who meets him appreciates his friendly and uplifting disposition.  Hopefully, if you

don't already have least one rescue animal now as your pet, then maybe you'll consider

adopting a rescue dog or cat in your next pet purchase!

Hi Andrew, Great to hear your story and how Nathan is doing well and joining you in your journey.  Poodles are great dogs.

I read a story almost every morning on the Animal Rescue site and many people write how the rescued animal also often rescues the human who did the rescuing.

My kitty Sunny was a rescued cat....I had her for 16 years...one day I will rescue/be rescued by another.

All the best.

Gloria
