Fall is a great time to sell your home in Clark County, WA

Fall!

Thinking about selling? Autumn ushers in a wonderful time to showcase your home.  First of all, when you price your home competitively, and present it in top-notch condition, it’s always a great time to sell a home. Sure, Spring is typically a busy time for home buyers, but you can make the best of the seasons.

In my opinion, Fall does a great job of presenting those powerful emotion-evoking images of an inviting home.  Buyers can easily see themselves reading in cozy chair near a fireplace, cooking in a wonderfully appointed kitchen, or imagine a family-filled holiday dining room. Especially with the help thoughtful staging.

A few tips for staging your Clark County home in the Fall

Fall!

  1. Light!  Let in as much natural light as possible - and place plenty of attractive lamps throughout the home to create additional light - and warmth.
  2. Brighten up the interior with a few carefully chosen seasonal displays ( don’t overdo it though) - remember, your house’s great features need to shine.
  3. Accentuate your furnishings with new throws and pillows.
  4. If your home lacks a view - create a focal point around a cozy fireplace.
  5. Curb appeal. Your home has to look good from the outside - first!  ( Don’t let a poorly maintained lawn or piles of leaves remind buyers of the work they have ahead of them)

The home is most inviting during this period, as you mentioned Debb. Dust is already settled from the heated spring/summer market and relaxing winter is still away. Yes, indeed, Fall is the time!

Autumn truly can be a great time to sell a home.  I'm especially fond of the color of leaves this time of year.  And, the decorative colors of harvest and Halloween can provide a delightful warmth.

I adore the Autumn here in the Pac NW, in late August and Early Sept when the days are still hot but the trees just start to change, and one of the best times to Hike up all the favorite spots.

Love the door photo. It says welcome home. The image of the front, now the kitchen, living room and a few more with a 'we're done here" approach is dead. Slicing into the pieces of the property puzzle, zooming into to high light and show case means you go above and beyond with creative flair.. say I bet you had a stint in media "'n'est-ce pas"?
