Cats, Disco Balls, Bras and Beer Cans - Showing homes is fun!

As realtors, we run into a lot of funny, questionable, unique, interesting, debatable, and silly things in people's homes.  I love capturing a few of them on my phone when I am with buyers.  I'm sure you've experienced some of the same - look at some of these - then after you've stopped laughing - share the crazy things you've encountered when showing houses!

Cat in SinkThe infamous cat in a sink!  I'm not sure if the seller if trying to highlight a feature of their really cool faucets that drip cats, or if this is just a bonus to the home - having a cat bed on the bathroom counter!

chickens

Here's what we found in the garage of another home.....it's a 4 chicken garage.

bras and beer

You only have chickens in your garage? Well my garage has bras and beer cans hanging in it - beat that!

(is that a country song?  "Beer and Bras - Hanging in the Garage"

dead mouse

A conveniently placed package of mouse poison!  What?  Infested?  Whatever gave you that idea?

discoball

Let's Dance! 'nough said.

deer

And finally.........Welcome.  What? Staged?  No, he always sits there and welcomes visitors!

I LOVE SHOWING HOMES!  It's almost always an adventure!!!!  : )

Wow, Steve! This is awesome - love the cat and deer. Beer and bras are way too good to be true! One house I showed just recently actually had 3 bedrooms, and at least 50 bras hanging in the basement. One can just wonder how many a lady could need.....

Marina - if you divide the 50 bras by the 3 bedrooms - that's a little over 16 bras a person!  Hee hee!  My wife does hang her bras to dry in the laundry room - but if my home was for sale - I think I'd put those away!  : )  Have a great day!
