How do you find a good Highlands Ranch real estate agent?  Congratulations, you just found one!  That was easy.  In all seriousness, finding a Highlands Ranch real estate agent isn't too hard.  However, what makes a good agent or better yet, what makes a great real estate professional?  Allow me to offer some thoughts on the subject and you can certainly feel free to agree or disagree.

Character

Does character really matter?  To me it does.  However, for many people, results are more important than character.  You hear it all the time, "it doesn't matter what they do in their personal life, it only matters whether they can do the job."  I've known a few cheats and liars who are great at what they do, but that doesn't mean I want to work with them.  If character doesn't matter to you, then I would probably not be a good fit as your real estate professional. It's entirely possible to get great results without sacrificing character.

There are numerous character traits that are important, not just one.  One that I hold very highly is integrity: my behavior is in alignment with what I profess to believe.  I don't say one thing and do another.  It also means that when I say I'm going to do something, I do it.  It almost seems like a forgotten art.

A Specialist

One thing I decided early on in my real estate career was that I was going to specialize in one city.  I chose Highlands Ranch because that is where I live.  Highlands Ranch is where my kids go to school.  Our church has a campus in Highlands Ranch.  My office is located in Highlands Ranch. If you want a good real estate agent in Cherry Hills, Boulder, Castle Rock or Colorado Springs, great!  I can refer you to one.  However, it will not be me. If you need a great Highlands Ranch real estate agent who is first and foremost a professional, that would be me. It's what I specialize in. It's what I blog about.  My website address is www.MovingToHighlandsRanch.com.  I really value being a local expert.  Now this doesn't mean I don't help people buy and sell homes in neighboring cities, but Highlands Ranch is my specialty.

A Team

Some people wonder what real estate agents do all day.  Don't they just buy and sell houses and make a lot of money?  How hard is that?  Not much work involved, right?  If you have ever worked with a really good real estate professional, you know that is not true.  In fact, there is so much to do before, during and after a real estate transaction that most agents on their own cannot realistically represent more than a couple customers at one time.  As the number of customers goes up, service goes down...unless you have a team working for you.

That's our philosophy at Executive Homes Colorado and Moving To Highlands Ranch.com.  We have a full staff of specialists doing what they do best so one person doesn't have to wear 7-10 different hats during the real estate transaction.  Best of all, you get my 10+ years of Chief Operating Officer experience leading, managing and running the show.

So if you happen to be shopping for a great Highlands Ranch real estate agent, I hope you will contact me and allow us the opportunity to earn your business.  I'm not suggesting we are the only good show in town, but I am suggesting very strongly that we are good at what we do.
