2013 Greenest Universities in USA
Sierra magazine Ten Coolest Schools ranking rates the greenest universities in America. It is open to all four year undergraduate colleges and universities in the United States. The extensive survey is filled out by campus administrators about the school’s sustainability practices. This survey had 162 completed responses for the 2013 survey and is called the Campus Sustainability Data Collector was the result of the collaboration of four organizations:
- Sierra Club
- Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE)
- Sustainable Endowments Institute (SEI)
- Princeton Review
The survey is over 300 pages long and to see the completed survey from any of the 162 participants you can click here. The top rated university scored 850 out of a possible 1,000 points.
