A top venue I recommend to visit while you're in Indio, California is the Rock Yard at Fantasy Springs Resort & Casino. The Rock Yard lets you enjoy live music outdoors every Saturday night under the stars with tribute bands during the summer months. By the way, summer months in the desert actually go from mid March through September.

The Rock Yard is one of my favorite venues to go to on a Saturday night in Indio. Every Saturday night offers a different tribute band resembling the likes of AC/DC, Prince, and Bon Jovi. An added bonus to the outdoor festivities is the Rock Yard is absolutely FREE! Grab your friends and sit back and relax or get up and dance a little. Whatever your preference is, you're sure to have a great time. Adult beverages are also available for sale outside in the Rock Yard if you desire.

Over the past year, the casino and hotel has undergone a multimillion dollar update, including all new slot machines. If you haven't been to the casino in a while, you really must check it out. I was pretty amazed when I walked through there the other day to shoot my video. The resort amenities are considered 4 star!
