Things to do When You Visiting St. Thomas U. S. Virign Islands

Real Estate Broker/Owner with Van Blake-Coleman Realty, St. Thomas/ 1-16940-1B

First let me warn you that if you are where you need to be quiet, you might want to turn off the sound on your device.

A good friend came to visit me in St. Thomas and I played tourist on St. Thomas and St. John as well. My friend is one of these very organized traveler and had selected some things to do while visiting St. Thomas.

Zip lining is not something I would ordinarily do in St. Thomas or anywhere for that matter. But, trying to be a good host, I agreed.

"Tree Limin' Extreme" is definitely something I would recommend if anyone asked me about things to do when you visit St. Thomas. There are six lines and two bridges. It is extremely well built and managed.

Located on the North side of the island I guarantee you will have a good time here if you are looking for something to do on St. Thomas.

The"stupid" comment was because I was trying to turn the line around, which of course you cannot do. you have to switch your hands and your body will change directions.

Hi Tanya, you live on an amazing island.  I had the pleasure of visiting St. Thomas approximately four times on cruises through Royal Caribbean over the last eight+ years.  I actually tried ziplining for the first time two years and I thought it was a lot of fun.  Thanks for the video and for sharing!

Taking a ferry over to St. John and hiking through both the desert side and the rain forest side and swimming in some secluded spots was a highlight. Much less touristy than St. Thomas.

Hi Karen and Mary, thanks for stopping in and I am glad you enjoyed the "ride".

Randy, Living in the VI, I  often use the car ferry to go to St. John. Funny but I feel the popular beaches there are too touristy for me,  Hawksnest, Trunk Bay and Cinnnamon Bay are all crowded with tourist. I avoid them. I do like Drunk Bay.

St. Thomas has some very quiet beaches too.

Great video. My wife and I have done zip lines many times. The first couple of times, it really took me out of my comfort zone.

Joe, I was with you. I am pretty adventuresome, I love to dive and visit off the beaten path, this one had me a little nervous. I am so glad I did it.

There has been a lot of attention to safety on this course, which I appreciated very much.

I have heard horror stories of lines breaking, having to tree hug to get to the line and having to break with your own hand in a glove. I think I would have passed on any of those. These bones don't heal so quickly any more.

We would love to visit St. Thomas but I do not think the zip lining will be near the top of the list of things to do. It would be an exciting experience.
