FairTradeWorks celebrated its first year of business on August 29th, 2013 in an untraditional way. It only seems fitting since they've been anything but traditional in their approach to new home construction and renovations.
The goal of the company from the very beginning has been to change consumer's construction experiences through incredible client care, excellent craftsmanship and fair pricing. They believe they've been able to prove that this winning combination is allowing people to trust in the construction industry again which in turn has inspired people to want to build and/or improve their homes.
In order to keep with their 'client-centric' focus, FairTradeWorks President Jim Perkins says he wanted to keep his first year in business celebrations about his clients. His staff brainstormed and came up with a unique concept involving the company's prime demographic- 40+ females who own homes. The Ladies Construction Cocktail Club Event is catered to 100 homeowners who will learn about the latest trends in construction and home improvement in a stress free, educational environment.
The Ladies Construction Cocktail Club is just one more way the company is showing that they are dedicated to keeping the process fun. Perkins says, "after all, your home is one of the biggest investments you'll ever make so you should enjoy improving it. Construction doesn't have to be about delays, false promises and cost overruns."
Besides software demonstrations and 3D home design walkthroughs there will be a multitude of displays and samples of the latest in home improvement.
The evening is also a great opportunity for females to network with other like-minded women and have a chance to win more than $1,000 in prizing.
Thanks for a great year from all of us and we look forward to what the future holds!
