The news has been out for some time now and if you haven't heard that the Menifee realestate market has heated up than you might be living under a rock..!!! 
Inventory is really low. While the traditional seller market is heating up with equity sellers obtaining top dollar we are seeing short sales as the real bargain for first time buyers, investors and those looking to score a deal. But you must act quickly and with vengence. These discounted properties are snapped up sometimes within hours of being placed on the market.
I'm in realestate 24/7 and specialize in short sales so what seems commonplace to me probably isn't to the average consumer so I thought it would be fun to share some numbers of the Menifee Real Estate Market as it relates to short sales. I think you may find the numbers pretty astounding!
September 5, 2013-In the City of Menifee with a zip code of 92584 there are 11 Active Menifee Short Sale Properties. In comparison to 'active' properties which means the property is actively being marketed and looking for a buyer there are 41 
'pending' properties which by definition means the property has an accepted offer and is in escrow. There's another status referred to as 'backup.' By definition that means that the short sale property has an offer and is in the process of being approved by the bank. There are 34 of those. By comparison there are a total of 186 short sale properties that closed since January 2013.
