Tualatin Community Supports Celebrate Tualatin

  March 11, 2008 (Tualatin, OR) Several local companies sponsor the "Celebrate Tualatin" volunteer recognition dinner on April 17, 2008 at the Tualatin Country Club (9145 SW Tualatin Road, Tualatin, OR 97062).  The presenting sponsor of the awards dinner will be Portland General Electric.  Table sponsors include A Group Real Estate, Bridgeport Village, City of Tualatin, Emerge Medical Spa, IDG Lending, Mary Kay, Pre Paid Legal Services, Tigard/Tualatin School District, West Coast Bank, and Wetlands Conservancy.  Table sponsors are encouraged to produce a table centerpiece in the "Going Green" theme.  

Award categories include Outstanding Chamber Volunteer, Business Excellence Award sponsored by Community Newspapers, Distinguished Citizen Award sponsored by Haggen Food & Pharmacy, Spirit of Tualatin Award sponsored by West Coast Bank, Outstanding Young Person Award sponsored by Umpqua Bank, Commitment to Youth Award sponsored by Quick n' Clean and Outstanding Service Award sponsored by Legacy Meridian Park.  Nominations of those that have made a difference in the Tualatin community this past year should be submitted to the Tualatin Chamber of Commerce no later than March 21, 2008. 

Event tickets are $30 per person.  Social hour will begin at 5:30 pm and dinner will proceed at 6:30 pm.  Many sponsorship opportunities are available for the event.
