Hello awesome office peeps!!! Homes for Heroes is helping this great team get to Vegas for the Softball World Series! We are raffling lots of great prizes Monday night (9/9/13)! AZ Ablaze Police Softball Club-
OUR STORY:
AZ Ablaze is Arizona’s newest traveling softball organization completely comprised of all Arizona Police Officers. We have team members deriving from several different police departments within the Valley. Ablaze will travel to nearly every major Western city and a few East Coast cities to represent our state in Police Softball tournaments. We plan to host tournaments in Arizona in the near future as well.
OUR MISSION:
AZ Ablaze’s number one goal is to give back to our own Arizona communities. All of the tournaments we we will participate in use their proceeds to go to the families of fallen police officer and local charities. Since we have committed our careers to protecting our communities, we feel we are in a unique position to help others. Our team will participate in charity walks/runs, community building/cleanups, and try to brighten the lives of children in the cities we travel to by visiting the local Children’s Hospitals. We feel that every little bit of support counts and small positive influence in someone’s day could be the difference they remember for a lifetime.
OUR HOPE:
We hope to obtain enough sponsorships and donations to achieve all our goals. All of our officers will be using their personal vacation time to attend tournaments. Our operating expenses can be overwhelming with the cost of uniforms, travel, tournament fees, printing, accounting, charitable gifts, and team fundraisers. All of us at AZ Ablaze are truly passionate about our ambitions and intend on settling on nothing short of success.
