Adventure to the south on I15

Orem UT day into night

Just recently I was able to make a trip south into Utah County UT, a whole thirty miles from my home in Sandy UT in Salt Lake County to get my wife to an evening appointment for Secret Women's Business (I suspect an evening meal and a night at a play ~ but I'm never sure).

My five hours of leisure allowed me to check out Orem UT and Provo UT, take in a movie, visit the University Mall (Orem), observe the giant Y (for BYU ~ the University in Provo) on the mountains of the Wasatch Front, observe the sunset, brave the traffic and still have reading time at Barnes and Noble. All in all, this trip was a cultural adventure to another part of my State, an adventure of seeing people busy doing things and going places ~ in the middle of the week, and at night.

Should the need arise, I might even go again. Definitely worth checking out when you visit Utah.

Hi Larry.  What a gorgeous sunset!  I've always heard that Utah is beautiful country -- someday I hope to see for myself.

Larry you have a really nice collection of great Adventure to the south pictures. Those mountains look so nice. I used to love skiing in Utah but it has been many years.

Larry,

Your photos never disappoint me. Now you have me curious about what goes on at your wife's Secret Women's Business Meetings but you made excellent use of your time and you captured the beauty of another place other than Sandy, Utah.
