Keeping the Blog Up to Date

By
Real Estate Agent with Flying M Team Small World Realty Fort Worth, Tx

Today I communicated with an agent I've never met before. After I'd replied to his email, I noticed he had a blog address as part of his email signature.

"Cool" I thought. I see many of blogs on ActiveRain, but few people I do business with have blogs. Deb McNeill Real Estate agentHoping to glean wisdom from a fellow blogger/agent, I typed in the address.

Sure enough, he has a blog.

There have been NO new posts since early in 2010.

You read that right. 2010.

Wow.

It's perfectly okay to not blog if you don't want to. But PLEASE take the address off your current email if you aren't going to keep it content fresh.

Still shaking my head....

That's really bad - think of the number of people that clink on that link only to see such dated material!  It doesn't reflect well on that agent.

I just joined Active Rain and will try not to do what that agent did.   So how many times to blog.  Well I would think only when you have something to say.  But at least once a month would keep it kink of fresh.  You wonder why they would pay for the service if they don't use it.
