The market in Maricopa County.

 

There is over 2 month’s inventory now in all but 4 cities. (Avondale, Chandler, Glendale, Tempe)

 

Total re-sales in Maricopa County for August were 6260! That’s the biggest drop month over month and the 3rd straight drop from May. REO closed was 521 which is 8% and short sales closed was 645 which is 10%. Normal sales closed was 5,095 which represents 82%. Pending inventory is down to 9,481. REO pending was at 657 which is 7% and short sales are at 2,925 which is 31% and normal sales pending at 5,899 which is 62%. Active inventory for Maricopa County continues to climb up to14,770. REO active is 683 which is 5% and short sales are at 671 which is 5% and normal listings are at 13,421 which represents 90%!
