Apples Ripe for the Picking at Wrentham, MA Farm

It is that time of year when the nights turn cool and the apples are ready for picking at the local Big Apple fruit and applesvegetable farm in Wrentham, MA!

The Big Apple is located in Wrentham, on the southern end of Franklin only a few minutes from rt. 495 King Street (exit 16)

Here is information from their website:


          PLEASE, NO CLIMBING THE TREES!
          All picking fruit easily reachable by children and adults                 
         
 Sorry, No pets allowed.  

 
          

AVAILABILITY: September WEEKENDS ONLY!
(until the Picking Orchard runs out - Call for current Info)
 
ACCESS:  Choice 1: Drive directly into the orchard (the entrance is located on Otis Street behind the farm, follow the signs directing you to the orchard parking)

Choice 2: You may purchase a Hayride ticket at the Hayride (this will take you to & from the Picking Orchard)

PICKING SIZES:

1/2 bushel = 20 lbs  or  approx  50 medium apples **
1 peck = 10 lbs  or  approx  20 - 25 medium apples **

 Depending on apple size

VARIETY:


We select the section of the Orchard which is ripe for picking each weekend. Picking Variety depends on prior weather.
