Delta County Habitat for Humanity Benefit Auction. Get ready for this first ever event from Delta County Habitat for Humanity. It's set for Saturday, October 12, 2013. The doors open at 11:00 for a preview of the auction items, and the auction starts at 1:00. The auction will take place at 124 East 6th Street, Delta, CO. That's in the old Chaco Building and across Main Street from the new farm supply store.
Delta County Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to support housing needs in Delta, The North Fork Valley and The Surface Creek areas. The group doesn't just build new homes. It also help owners of existing homes with much needed repairs.
For a small rural organization, Delta County Habitat for Humanity does a lot for the community. Most recently the group partnered up with Drug Free Delta County on a project. With a little community participation, the Delta County Habitat for Humanity Benefit Auction is sure to be a big success.
The group is now accepting donations of new and gently used items for the auction. Check out the group's Face Book page for more information and information on how to donate.
