It's not often I get the opportunity to endorse and recommend another author. As most of you know I'm in the final chapter of my book that is to be released the first part of 2014. With all my focus on finding free time to finish it, I'm having less success in reading others. However, I do want to put the full weight of my 200 plus pound body behind a great read for your tween.
The book is called
"The Magician's Doll"
by M.L. Roble.
For your kids who get off on the Harry Potter thing, this could be the next breakout book. While I've known the author since she was a tiny little whippersnapper, the she's getting nothing but 5 star reviews from critics and readers alike. What makes this intriguing is that the young main character in the book needs to learn how to control her powers before she ruins others, and in the long run, herself.
My sister, who doesn't have time for such books, has a MBA from Notre Dame and is quite the non-waster of time. She skeptically read this book as a favor to the author and was smitten herself. She has 5 kids of her own and thought that it'd be a great read for them all.
Friends and family can be the harshest critics, but they approve with both thumbs up. Additionally, professional critics agree. It's a 5 star book by the next break out author.
This may just be that one perfect stocking stuffer this Christmas. If you can't wait, you can find it on Amazon today.
