This past week I noticed bees had built a nest in a tree that was pretty close to our house and driveway. It had sprung up rather quickly as it was not there 2 or 3 weeks ago. The size was enormous and seemed to have a tremendous amount of activity.
After getting a better look at the "bees" we realized they weren't bees at all but hornets and very aggressive hornets. From a distance it looked like there was one main point of entry where the hornets were coming and going. Up close with a camera lens you could see they were coming and going from 8 different holes in the nest. This was definitely a problem that had to be eradicated for our safety as well as our pets.
I reached out to JNJ Pest Control on the recommendation of a friend and was told they could come out today. Wow what service! Here is a picture of the nest right before he got to work. As you can see there is a lot more activity.
Unfortunately today it is close to 100 degrees outside so he not only has to battle thousands of bees but the heat as well. I went in the house as he climbed into his suit. I was able to snap only 1 picture because none of the windows of the house look out on the actual nest.
Once he got near it the noise and the swarming was just unbelievable so I was only able to catch glimpses from way on the other side of my house because they were swarming around him and that end of my house. He was able to get it sprayed and removed from up in the tree so within 24 hours they should all be gone thank goodness! Thanks to John and the great job he did!
I would recommend JNJ for any of your pest removal/control concerns whether residential or commercial!
