Arts and Crafts Home in Kate Sessions Park Neighborhood
Sometimes you get a rare opportunity, to own a unique Greene and Greene styled home in a coastal neighborhood of Pacific Beach. I think this is such an opportunity. Perhaps you have never heard of Architects Charles and Henry Greene. They were more known in Pasadena than San Diego but they were influential in the Arts and Crafts Homes we see in Mission Hills Neighborhood.
They are now known for the David A Gamble House built in 1908 heir to the Proctor & Gamble Company

In the North Pacific Beach Neighborhood near Kate Sessions Park a new Home project was started in the Craftsman Style.

Unfortunately the vision seen today was not completed and the property was sold before completion. When the home was resold, the new owner completed and expanded the Green and Green Style Masterpiece. I am a big fan of classic architecture and personally I think the inspiration of this home was the Gamble House located in Pasadena, CA.
What is unique about this beautiful craftsmans home is the history of the land upon it was built. This property was originally part of Kate Sessions personal Home and Gardens. Many of the trees in the neighborhood were planted by Kate herself. The wooded neighborhood is an undiscovered treasure. This new construction home is located just west of Kate Sessions Park
and closely resembles its sister neighborhood in Los Altos, CA in the Bay Area. You don't expect to find canopies of trees lining the streets of Pacific Beach.
Pacific Beach- 92109 is a great neighborhood to raise and family and the Pacific Beach Schools are one of the best rated in San Diego. Several of our magnet school programs have waiting list!
Take a look through the pictures, but to truly experience this beautiful property give me a call so I can arrange a private tour and guide you through this beautiful home. I know we can find the right home for your family.
