Coal City has won the 2008 Illinois Rural Water Association Award for its wastewater and water treatmen t plant!!!

The Illinois Rural Water Association is a nonprofit independent group that isdedicated to the improvement and development of public and private water and wastewater systems. The agendaof the association is professional and efficient operation of water and wastewater systems through education and on-site assistance.
