The students are back to Penn State University and that means Penn State Football is also in full swing. Time for a Centre County Real Estate Report as well! 
Currently there are 1128 active listings in the Centre County Association of REALTORS MLS. In August we had 303 new listings hit the market and another 112 listings go sale pending. As you can see there are more listings coming on the market than what is going off so inventory is growing.
August also saw 179 closed sales for the entire MLS. More thna likely these properties went sale pending in June or July. Of all the closed sales in August the average days on market for those sales was 86 days. We're still under 3 months for days on market but that will probably grow as inventory grows.
