Colorado Flood Victims- Sending Our Thoughts and Prayers

Let’s send thoughts and prayers to our ActiveRain community, and everyone in Colorado, facing danger from the severe flooding.

Four people have died and 172 are missing as a result of the raging flood waters which dumped over 15 inches of rain in the last few days.  Even more of a nightmare is the rain isn’t over, the area expecting additional heavy rains Saturday and Sunday.

Having seen and been a victim of Agnes in 1972 and other floods in my own State of Pennsylvania, we deeply sympathize with the affected people of Colorado.  The people of Colorado have been victims of the terrorists of nature, fire and water recently, how much more can they endure?

We are hoping the families come out better than the news is portraying the situation to be . . . and for all those who don't, our condolences for the loved and lost....
