Motivational Power Quote

Worrying Will Take up Your Today

“Today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday.”

Anonymous

As I see it . . . . . . .

Worrying will take up your today

Those who worry today . . . .  wastes a day of their life on something that may or may every happen in the future.

When you spend your time worrying you drain your energy for no productive purpose . . . . as a result you have very left in your tank to use for productive purposes.

Worrying will not solve a problem . . . . or change a condition  . . . . All that worrying will do is totally stress you out and make the conditions worst.

When you’re faced with a problem or a condition . . . . you have to remain composed and keep your emotions under control. When your emotions are under control you will have a clear head to look for the best way to successfully handle the condition.

Worrying will take up your today . . . . Remaining composed and in controlling your emotions puts you in the best position in finding answers and resolving to at condition.

Thank you so much for this post! Very encouraging.  It boils down to a person's mindset.  Positive thinking is so important towards achieving success. Negatively tends to steer a person in the wrong direction.

Lou, Worry is worthless. It doesn't change a thing and only create anguish and physical problems.

worry is a drain on the energy -- no doubt about that.  better to channel that energy elsewhere!

Good morning, Lou... if worrying and thinking are interchangeable, thinking allows you to come up with a backup system....

I can't tell you that I have never gotten caught up in worry, but not very often. I can usually snap out of it pretty quickly.

Good Morning Lou, what a wonderful quote. I agree we all get worried about small things in life and drain our energy and focus from what is far more important in life.

Hi Lou,

Your are so right it is a complete waste of time. At times paralizing just making things worse rather than better.  Find something, anything positive to do.

Lou,

The immortal football Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant used to prepare his players for each game with the following words of wisdom, "men, have a plan, work the plan and expect the unexpected". Worrying most times, takes place when confronted with situations or a set of circumstances we didn't expect. Preparing yourself for each day with the thought in mind the unexpected may occur, will allow one to condition their mindset to properly react when an unexpected situation pops up. How many times have we heard someone say, "it caught me totally by surprise"? Conditioning yourself to react properly, eliminates the wasting of time and limits the effect of emotions when dealing with life's situations. Thanks Lou for keeping us on the straight and narrow.

I used to work with a wonderful woman who has since passed away.  She was the first female graduate of Saint John's Law Schooll in NY.  One of her favorite sayings was "Don't worry.  Most of the things about which we worry often never come to pass."  That was one of her many great sayngs.  She always spoke precisely and she was always smiling.  Friends like that are always missed.

Great advice.

If you can do something about it, do it and don't worry. If you can't, don't worry. No need to worry just for the sake of worrying. Great read, Lou. Thank you!
