Saturday Subscriber Finds 16
What would we do without our home inspectors? Sometimes they make it hard to keep a deal together (sorry guys, it really isn't your fault) but overall they are worth their weight in gold. We have a many of these gems in the Rain so I decided to start with some of our most active members that regularly share their findings with us. So sit back, relax, we are going to read the reports on 3 fine home inspectors. I hope you will be able to add a new Saturday Subscriber Find to your list of daily reading with this Saturday Subscriber Finds 16.
This is a very familiar face in the Rain. Jay Markanich is a man of integrity. Those agents in the Northern Virginia area are blessed to be able to call on this detail man. He is a discoverer and sees things that he simply can't believe. Then he shares his findings with us here in the Rain to educate us and make us aware of how to help our clients. His experience comes from years of general contracting experience. Jay also shares his viewpoints on the world and isn't afraid to do that. Hats off to you Jay. He has been around a long time in the Rain and published his first post in October 2008. He is regularly featured because of the good information he shares. So though he may not be a new face to you, are you Following Jay? If not click here and go to his blog and hit the Follow button and begin a daily experience of reading Jay.
We head down to Tennessee and the Nashville area and find another long timer in the Rain. Michael Thornton is a respected home inspector that loves history and photography. Since Middle Tennessee is rich in culture and beauty his love for these things is satisfied. He regularly shares his photography and viewpoints on a variety of subjects. I hope to meet Michael on day at one of the Nashville area MeetUps. Michael posted his first time in November 2007. He is a member of ASHI and follows the recommended practices of home inspection techniques of the Institute. Have you had the opportunity to meet Michael Thornton? Heading to the Southwest in Carlsbad, NM is another one of our fine home inspectors. Clint Mckie is a familiar face here in the Rain and has some very interesting posts about his home inspection findings. He educates us by his sharings and we learn some very unusual things about construction at the same time. Clint has completed thousands of home inspections and gained his experience from being in the manufactured home industry for over 30 years. He is a real guy and has very informative posts. He first published in August 2010. If you haven't read his posts then you have been missing out. Click here to go to Clint Mckie blog and Follow him.
