When I first heard about the Homes for Heroes Program I knew it would be a perfect fit for Guild Mortgage, a company that encourages it employees to engage and volunteer in the community.   I am committed to giving back to all those “Heroes” who support us all each day as members of our military; and as police officers, firefighters, educators and healthcare workers.

On a personal level  I am also inspired by my grandfather, John Hanke.  He was killed serving on the Intrepid in WW II working in the radar room when the carrier was struck on November 25,  1944 by a kamikaze attack.  He was a hero to our family and our country. 

Homes for Heroes provides a wonderful opportunity for me,  as a mortgage professional,  to do the job I love  and to participate in a program that pays it forward to such valuable members of our military and  those who serve our communities. 

I am honored to have the opportunity to help these “Heroes” find the best possible financing solutions for the homes they so deserve.
