We have been waiting for a long time for this rain.
I watched as the rain clouds slowly made their way over me. Once the rain started...I stay for a while and is still raining.
Although the 1/4 inch we have so far doesn't get us out of the drought, it does help in the short term.
Now, if it would rain all night!
At least you aren't getting the deluge the folks in Colorado are. It would be much better if Mothern Nature would spread the rain in reasonable amounts all year long.
My dad lives in Iowa and he says you guys in the Midwest really need this rain. My cousin farms acreage in corn and soy beans. He's waiting for the rain, too. I know about drought, and I'm glad to see you guys are greating rain. I hope it continues.
The rain we are getting right now is way to heavy, just running off, but better than nothing.
