I just came across this beautiful video made by the Budweiser Clydesdales to honor the victims of September 11th. This commercial only aired once and is so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. Budweiser really outdid themselves on this one. It is so touching that I just can't put it into words.
So Pretty Lisa, I love the horses, especially the Budwiser Clydesdales, and any time is a good time to pay tribute to the victums of 9/11.
I saw this Weds and all I can say is WOW! Bud, you did GOOD, REALLY GOOD!!!!
Kevin - AGREE TOTALLY. It hits you right in the heart like a knock out punch.
Lisa, It is never too late. The horses are so majestic. I love those beasts. Seeing this made my eyes well up. It even makes me want to have a beer ... but it would not be a Bud. Thanks for sharing this.
Lisa, The Clydesdales are gorgeous animals and bring so much emotion when used in a situation like this. Thank you for sharing.
Lisa, a great video and tribute to the 9-11 victims. I love to watch the Clydesdale horses!
You're right, what a wonderful tribute. Our flags are all still up, I wanted all of them to know, that we are remembering more than just one day a year.
Yes, that is a really nice and touching tribute. Thanks for sharing, Lisa.
Lisa, I cried at the super bowl when this first aired. It was and is a wonderful tribute. Too bad they only aired it once.
Lisa-Although Anheuser-Busch is now owned by a European country, they have always had great marketing and advertising.
Hi Lisa,
This was a wonderful tribute to the 9-11 victims and to all Americans. The Clydedales are one of my absolutely favorite things to watch at events; fairs, celebrations and in this case tributes. They are so stately with a fantastic coat. The shaggy fur on their feet makes them so special. Thanks for sharing and Suggest! Made me tear up watching it.
Hi Lisa, It is never late to pay tribute to those who make the ultimate sacrifice. Thank you!
I didn't see that commercial. Quite a surprise from Budweiser, but a beautiful one.
Oh, I haven't seen it before, so touching Lisa. What a lovely post for 9-11. And now we're even...this video just made me cry.
I do not know if it is actually true - but it woul dbe intersting to find out... it was said that Budweiser only aired this once becasue they didn't want to look like they were making money (via marketing) from the horrific tragedy. It does explain why a fabulously moving advertisement was only aired once!
This years tribute to 9/11 was amazing if you watched on the internet instead of the news media - over 1million bikers decended on the Mall - to show support for the fallen and thier families and the first responders... google it - or go to the facebook page "2 million bikers to DC" - get your kleenex - the video's will cause waterworks!
Thanks for sharing...
Thanks, Lisa. I missed this commercial. I never tire of watching the Clydsedales and Budweiser did a fantastic job. I agree with Elise's explanation above.
