Fishhawk Lake Real Estate-Travels to the Pacific Coast of Oregon

After a week's vacation, I'm jumping right back into work mode. Today brings new buyers coming to view several of my listings with others lining up for appointments, after all kinds of calls while I was away from Fishhawk Lake. Isn't that always the case?

So, in order to be "taken away" momentarily, I have pulled up a dreamy shot from our yearly tryst to Pacific City.

This brought up visions of deserts in the Sahara, far far way from any coastline, let alone the Pacific Ocean! If you look closely, there is a vehicle parked on the sand...can you see it? Surfers were starting to line up.

A marvelous place to wile away the hours, Pacific City is a must for surfers, dreamers, photographers, writers, travelers, you name it!

We ran on the beach, my hubby and I and then took that sand hill to the top where we could enjoy the visage of crashing waves, the shadows of birds along the craggy cliffs, it was all truly magnificent.

Mirages or real estate, I choose them ALL!

Way cool. We have a similar place in Texas called Monahans with huge white dunes but no ocean next door. Pacific City looks very relaxing to the eye. My biggest impression on the Oregon coast were HUGE rocks out in the water, so different than Florida. And kite flying. Galveston has oil platforms off shore LOL. Something different everywhere.

Norman, thank you for the accolades! Glad you found the vehicle...I actually hadn't seen it til I was editing the photo.

Oh, Kristin, they LOVED it!!!!! And I never get tired of hearing you be happy with where I live--a terrific compliment.

Gary, Haystack Rock (there are two) is a common HUGE rockthat sits right in front of this home that I always stay in. I plan on showing some more of the photos that I took of it.

John, I gotta tell ya...I'm married to a workaholic who worked a good part of our trip and then, well....so did I (dammit). I recall one full day where he left his iphone at the hotel and we actually more or less relaxed! One week a year for vacation is simply not enough! So go, do your thing with RELISH.

Gorgeous shot - I think Bernie and I need to head to the beach for a few nights soon. We're both exhausted from our busy and stressful summer.

We both love Rockaway area and Manzanita. So, we'll see how soon we get that on the books.

Kind of sorry to hear you two couldn't leave the business behind for a few days, but that's life right?  At least you were able to escape for a few hours at a time. :)
