This month saw 10 homes sold in Waldwick compared with 13 sold in July, and is down from 19 sold in August last year.
The Summer Market is winding down in Bergen County, with well presented listings seeing multiple offers on a regular basis. With mortgage rates fluctuating slightly, but still lingering around the lowest rates in history, it continues to be a terrific time to buy a home, and with many buyers out there, it is one of those rare times when it is also a good time to sell. The Borough of Waldwick is home to just under 10,000 residents. During the 2009-10 school year, Julia A. Traphagen School, a school for students in Kindergarten through grade 5,was awarded the Blue Ribbon School Award of Excellence by the U.S. Department of Education, the highest award an American school can receive, and the only school in Bergen County to receive the honor.
