One of the best words in sales in the word "NEXT". Today I had a deal fall through after a counter offer of only $500. I have to choices of what to do:
I can sit around and be mad at the buyer or my seller
Or I can say "NEXT" and move on and find the right buyer for the listing.
That is one of the hardest things to do in sales of any kind but especially in real estate because you spend so much time,effort, and FUEL trying to put a deal together. It took me a while to figure that out but after a few years of selling cars it has become my credo.
So don't dispair and be ready for the NEXT one!
