There are still Active listings at a wide variety of price points, but the recently Sold and current Under Contract activity are 72% of real estate activity in the south Charlotte region as of September 2013.
The supply of homes for sale decreased to 2.8 months of real estate inventory as of September 2013, well below Buyer favored conditions.
The area's current supply of real estate inventory is BELOW balanced conditions and out of Buyer favored territory.

The current supply of homes for sale in Area 5 is a new LOW for the past 42 months.
The supply of homes for sale in south Charlotte NC is LOWER of what it was at this time last year.
There are still choices for Buyers to consider but for the area as a whole, there is NOT an excessive supply of homes for sale right now.
