What To Do In Colorado - Georgetown Loop Railroad Dinner Train
If you are from Colorado and looking for something new and fun to do OR you are from out of state and looking for that perfect quintessential Colorado activity … THIS IS IT!

The Georgetown Loop Railroad, originally completed in 1884 and restored in 1973, is a staple of the Colorado mountains! This old-time steam locomotive takes visitors through the Rocky Mountains, curving up Clear Creek Canyon, offering up breathtaking views of nature’s work!

Recently the Georgetown Loop Railroad established a
“Georgetown Loop Railroad Dinner Train” route and I for one am VERY excited to give it a try! Relax and enjoy choices ranging from a “steak and lobster” train to a “Beer and Brats” train, or even “Wine Tasting & Hors D’oeuvres” train! Recently added is the “Colorado Cuisine Train” offering selections of Braised Bison Short Ribs, Elk Rib-Eye Steak, and Ruby Red Trout … YUMMY!
Visitors will depart the train stations at 6:30pm and enjoy almost 3 hours of dusk, sunset, and nightfall of eating, taking in gorgeous scenery, and gazing at the stars! Pricing is very reasonable and ranges from $36.95 - $57.92 per adult and $38.95 for children!
