Great news for Alabama!! Thyssenkrupp Steel and Northrop, Airbus are bringing jobs to our beloved Alabama! Thyssenkrupp Steel will build and operate carbon and stainless steel processing facilities.  For more information, visit Thyssenkrupp website.

More great news for those interested in moving to Alabama...Friday, February 29, 2008, the Air Force awarded Northrop Grumman Corp. and a European partner a $35 billion contract to build airborne refueling planes.  The contract to build up to 179 aircraft brings great employment opportunity to the beautiful south Alabama area, along with employment opportunity for ancillary suppliers! For more information regarding Northrop, Airbus, visit MSNBC website.  This is very exciting news for those of us living in Alabama along with potential investors looking for real estate opportunities/building and buying apartment complexes.

An FYI, Saturday, March 1,2008, my husband had an inquiry from an Airbus employee regarding a home he had under construction in Fairhope Alabama.  They are coming and this is a great thing for our economy!!

Thanks for the great advice. I will check back often. I really like the blog. I am new at blogging but I am beginning to learn quite a bit from reading blogs like the ones I find on Active Rain. If I can ever be of help just let me know.

                                                                 Thanks, Terry
