Is the Fall Season a good time to buy? - Should I buy a home in Fall?

In some parts of the country home selling slows because of weather. NOT in Southern California. We're blessed to have some of the best weather in the country. Yes, more homes sell during May through August, but some of the best buys happen September through December. Should I buy a home in Fall?

Is the Fall Season a good time to buy? Let's look at the advantages of buying in the fall.

Interest Rates: I've been watching mortgage rates for over 20 years.  Historically, when the fall comes I've noticed the rates also fall. Lower rate can equate to more house.

More Inventory: Sellers that missed the summer rush get anxious. Sellers get motivated as days on the market increase. New homes on the market realize they need to be better priced (lower) to attract a smaller number of potential buyers.

Negotiation: With more homes to choose from, make your Realtor work. This is the time to ask for closing cost credits, appliances and a lower sales price. Having the wrong agent during the fall season can cost you. My team is trained and we are market leaders during every season. If you want the most house for the money, contact us. Is the Fall Season a good time to buy? We'd like to show you how good of a time it IS to buy NOW!
