Kings Island Halloween Haunt Opens Friday September 20 2013
Ready to get your scare on? No one does it quite like Kings Island's annual Halloween Haunt! As if some of the rides by themselves might not make you need a change of undergarments, Kings Island's Halloween Haunt breaks out the super scary to get your adrenaline pumping! Ghouls, zombies, psycho clowns, vampires and werewolves, they and all their evil tempered friends will be doing their best to turn your hair gray! Now obviously, this IS NOT an event intended for those 13 and under....unless you want to paying for years of psychotherapy!
With 11 mazes, this event isn't for the faint hearted! And they'll also have three returning shows for you: Blood Drums, Hot Blooded and Graveyard Shift! And not content with last year's three, they've added a fourth: Ed Alonzo's Psycho Circus! And if all that isn't enough for you, they're tossing in some Scare Zones for good measure!
And since we're in an amusement park, you don't think all the rides would be closed do you? Windseeker, The Beast, Delirium, Diamondback, Drop Tower, Firehawk, Flight of Fear, Invertigo, Racer, Vortex and MORE will all be available to twist your stomach!
And this year if you've got the extra dollars to spare, Kings Island is offering some premium line cutting, with the Fright Lane ticket giving you limited head of the line privileges for the mazes, and Fast Lane gets you to the front of the lines for the rides. You're going to pay at LEAST $35 extra for the Fright Lane and $45 for the Fast Lane above your original ticket price.
So what is the event going to cost? We'll we'd recommend buying your tickets to Kings Island Halloween Haunt online and get the discounted price! Friday nights are $26.99 and Saturdays all day are $32.99 or catch the evening for $26.99. And of course you'll be paying for parking and whatever you eat or drink!
When is the event? Fridays and Saturdays from September 20th through October 26th! Normal hours are Fridays 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., and Saturdays 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., with the indoor mazes open at 5 p.m., and the full scary Haunt experience fully engaged by 7 p.m. The park is open on Sundays 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., but WITHOUT the Halloween Haunt activities!
