Check Out iOS7 Features - Before You Install
iOS7 is here! Yay! Oh, what am I saying - I didn't even realize it was already here, but thanks to Craig Daniels, here is a tip on how to get some inside info on the changes before you actually upgrade. I think I will wait on it a bit and see how it goes, although I think Siri may have a male voice option now...not sure how I feel about that, though, 'cuz I'm rather fond of the Siri I have now.
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
iOS7 is available on your iPhones and iPads starting today -
Under your settings button > General > Software Update - you may see "new update available"
This is a pretty big UI update - my suggestions to you are these...
- Learn about the update before you install it so you won't be surprised by the changes
- Do the update when you have time to explore all the changes
- Do a device backup first (just in case anything goes wrong)
(iCloud can backup but it is easy to go over the free quota. You can always use backup in iTunes to get a full device backup to your computer)Now, how do you learn about the updates??
Here are a couple of pages that will give you a firsthand look before the install -

Mashable - iOS7 What's New - including hands on video
I haven't tried it out yet (downloading now on the iPad!) so I'm not the judge of the results yet. It does look like a nice update. Verdict coming soon...
If you aren't adventurous and want to wait a bit that may work better for some of you. Wait til some of your colleages get the update and check it out firsthand before you jump in.
