Bike Share in San Francisco has Arrived!

A trip to Washington D.C. was the first time I ever came across the idea of bike share and thought it was the coolest thing! I always thought it would be great if our cities offered the same. This year, bike share has arrived!

Bike Share SF

Since I didn't know much about it, I searched online and found this great artice about the Pros and Cons of Bike Share.

After the roll out in San Francsico and the Peninsula, Oakland is next. How exciting! Have you tried it yet?

Elisa, the idea of bike share is very exciting. It is off to such a great start in San Francisco that plans are already underway to expand the program. I heard Mayor Ed Lee speak last night; he's a strong proponent of bike share.

I just saw them for the first time last week and was pretty excited since I heard a few months back the ideas was brewing. If the bike path to the bay bridge went all the way to the city we could bike back and forth from SF to OAK. :)
